Our Mission
Hackaway at Hunger and Poverty strives to support individuals and families in the greater Exeter Township area by fighting hunger and poverty, supporting education and literacy, and promoting health & wellness.
Charity Funding Statement
Through fundraising and volunteerism, Hackaway at Hunger and Poverty supports not-for-profit organizations and families in the greater Exeter Township, Pa., area. Through 2022, primarily through golf tournaments and sponsor contributions, we have raised more than $215,000. All of the funds have been donated locally. Our focus is on fighting hunger and poverty, supporting education and literacy, and promoting health and wellness. The organizations we support include:

Who we are
Hackaway at Hunger and Poverty is driven by the camaraderie, companionship, and compassion of a group of golfers at the Reading Country Club. Much of the money we raise comes from golf events at RCC and direct donations from golfers at RCC and other individuals and businesses in the Exeter Township and Berks County Areas.
